Kuttanad – known as the rice bowl of Kerala, is the major rice granary. It is most sought after place for tourists in the GOD’s own country. The tourist season in Kuttanad is from October to March - April.

The place is very accessible for the tourists. You could reach there through National Highway- 47 from Harippad to Alappuzha town in the District of Alappuzha, and from places like Thiruvalla and Changanasserry on the Main Central (MC) Road going through the District of Kottayam.
